The goal of this project is to help children understand the weather by correlating the view from the Lawrence Hall of Science with weather data and satellite imagery. This project is part of the Lawrence Hall of Science Weather Exhibit and the FOSS Weather CD-ROM.

Our Camera:
After 2 months of tests, we have decided that the best camera for the job is Kodak's DC 280 digital Camera. Though we could get better image quality out of another camera, Kodak publishes their APIs freely and this has made the automation possible.

What am I looking at?
This image should help you get your bearings.
